Type the text hereThe central library of the Shahid Motahari Higher School and University houses tens of thousands of books across Arabic, Persian, and English languages. The library is primarily oriented towards humanities and Islamic sciences. The manuscript treasury contains over 4,200 handwritten manuscripts, with significant works spanning various fields of knowledge. Among these treasures, the oldest manuscript is a beautifully decorated Quran, written in the 3rd century AH in Kufic and Thuluth scripts. The most precious manuscript in this treasury is the number 400 of "Khamseh" by Nezami, which has been globally registered. The section on lithographed and lead-printed books also includes 2,700 works. The oldest lithographed book in this collection is "Tarikh-e-Fereshteh" written by Mohammad Qasim Hindushah Astarabadi, known as Fereshteh, printed in Bombay in two volumes in 1832 AD (1247 AH). The oldest lead-printed book in the collection is Ibn Sina's "The Canon," printed in 1593 AD.
